Whiplash Beer - Slow Life

Old Man Winter is well and truly upon us like a shithead following us around the brewery so we’ve taken it upon ourselves to make something we’d always wanted to drink when we’re on the sesh in the cold season. A proper Nitro Stout. Slow Life is all about malt, nuance and balance – taking a simple grist of Floor Malted Pale Malt, Brown Malt, Aromatic and Chocolate with a dash of Columbus in the boil. Fermented on WLP007 and then left the fuck alone. We take pride in this lad being a beautiful mug of absolute pint fuel and while she’s easy drinking you get a beautiful complexity of roasty, bready coffee and soft malt sweetness with an un-apologetic bitterness to balance out the whole affair and leave you waiting for your next gulp of soft creamy chocolaty goodness. Uerige Obergärige Hausbrauerei - Altbier

Uerige Alt ist das an Bitterstoffen reichste Bier Deutschlands. Trotzdem (oder gerade darum) ist dieses legendäre Düsseldorfer Altbier so vollmundig und aromatisch.
Gebraut wird unsere obergärige Spezialität seit 1862 aus Gerstenmalz, Caramelmalz, Röstmalz, Doldenhopfen, Wasser – und mit unserer ganz besonderen Uerige-Hefe.

Brasserie Cantillon - Cuvée Saint-Gilloise (Champions) (2022)

Two-year-old lambic in which fresh Hallertau Mittelfrüh hops have been soaked.
A perfect balance is struck between the lambic’s natural acidity and the Hallertau hops’ refined bitterness.
In order to preserve the subtlety of the hops, the lambics selected for Cuvée Saint-Gilloise are elegant and refined such that the balance between acidity and bitterness is not disturbed. Since there is no blending with young lambic as for gueuze, and no addition of fructose as for fruit beers, secondary fermentation of Cuvée Saint-Gilloise in the bottle is brought about by adding liquid sucrose. Like all the beers produced at Cantillon Brewery Cuvée Saint-Gilloise will keep for a very long time in a good cellar, but also like all hopped beers it is best drunk when young so as to be able to fully enjoy the floral aspect of the hops. Brasserie Cantillon - Rosé De Gambrinus (2022)

The raspberries are from Serbia and the fruit is blended with lambic that is on average 20 months old, the proportion being 200 g of fruit per litre of beer. Since raspberries are delicate it is necessary to select a lambic that is both mellow and subtle so that it will be a good match for the fruit. After soaking for two to three months, the lambic has extracted the full colours, fragrances and flavours of the raspberries. At that point it is blended with one-year-old lambic, which contributes the sugars necessary for secondary fermentation in the bottle.
We only use fresh fruit and, as is the case for wine, Cantillon beers can be referred to in terms of vintages. Prevailing weather conditions have a major impact on the ripeness and quality of the fruit, and this is why the taste of the brewery’s fruit-based beers will differ slightly from one year to the next. Brasserie Cantillon - Fou' Foune

The apricots are sourced from environmentally-friendly and sustainable agriculture. The proportion is 300 g of fruit blended with one litre of lambic, and the soaking time is very short. Specifically, it will only take around five weeks for the lambic to extract the fragrances and flavours of the fruit. It is worthwhile to note that Fou’Foune kicks off the bottling season around the end of August. Given its success, Fou’Foune has taken up third place among the fruit beers in terms of volume, behind the traditional kriek and Rosé de Gambrinus.

The doorbell rings. Expecting a delivery, you jump up from the sofa in excitement. Is it the delicious, fresh, Bräugier beer you ordered? Is it your new PlayStation? Or maybe that sweet hat you ordered to impress your hot coworker?
You get to the door and answer the intercom to buzz in the delivery guy. “Hallo?!” you say, full of anticipation.
But what do you hear in response?
The same damn thing you always hear. The delivery is not for you!! Instead you hear over the intercom the dreaded phrase: “Paket für Nachbarn” (English: Package for your Neighbor)!
Somehow, they never have your stuff…your stuff probably got delivered to a neighbor. And now for the 3rd time this week, deflated, you agree to accept the package for your neighbor, while your apartment is starting to look more and more like a Paket Shop. Welcome to modern life in a German city.
For the next time that happens, we’ve got the beer to help you unwind. Our newest Double Dry Hopped NEIPA is 6.9% and features 22 g/l of Simcoe, El Dorado, and Idaho 7.

Lervig - Paragon 2021

Paragon 2021 showcases our patient and considered approach to tending nearly 60 different bourbon barrels for over 12 months. This edition of our distinguished barley wine displays strong notes of caramel and oak-ageing with hints of tabacco, fruit cake and vanilla. Smooth Talker is a 60/40% blend of mango and passionfruit that was added to a light, tart sour base turning it Fanta-orange in colour with flavours of freshly-sliced mango and subtle notes of passionfruit. A sour but well-integrated finish lends a refreshing roundness to the beer that is further smoothed out by the addition of Nitrogen in our new widget cans.
